Five years! Where does the time go? It’s hard to believe it’s been five years since we promised each other forever! On April 14, 2013, at a beautiful venue in Colleyville, TX, we said “I Do” in front of all of our all of our closest friends and family! It was such an amazing day and if I’m being honest, feels like these past five years have flown by! We have come so far and have created such a beautiful life together, yet it seems like just yesterday I was getting ready to meet you at the alter.
Our first five years of marriage have been a ride! We have had many highs and some lows. We’ve built a home, started a business, welcomed our precious son, traveled, cried, laughed until we cried, and have celebrated so much in this short amount of time. We have learned how to communicate, problem solve, encourage and most importantly we have loved. Marriage isn’t always easy, but our faith has always been bigger and we have kept God as our foundation and our guide. You’re my rock, the voice of reason, although sometimes I hate to admit it, and there’s honestly no-one on this planet I love spending time with more than you! You are strong, kind, loving, fun and not bad to look at either! 😉 Our five years have brought us so many blessings, especially Corbin. I am so proud of the man you are and even more so to be your wife, but watching you love our little boy has made my heart grow even more than I could have imagined. You are the best dad and I am so thankful for the gift you’ve given me in him and the love you show us each day. This love is the best love and I would marry you a million times over! I’m looking forward to the next 50 years, growing old with you, laughing, and googling answers to prove who’s right or wrong during our silly arguments! You are my love and my very best friend. Our adventure has only just begun, and I am the luckiest to do life with you by my side. Thank you for choosing me.
Since today is so special to us, I thought I’d share some of our wedding photos from this day five years ago! We got married at Piazza in the Village and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day for us! It was a true celebration from the floral, to the food and every detail in between, even more than I could have ever dreamed of! I would highly recommend the Piazza to this day if you’re newly engaged and looking for a venue in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Seamless planning from beginning to end and we loved every minute! Enjoy!
Cheers to 100 more, my love!
