Black Friday & Cyber Monday

Happy Black Friday and soon to be Cyber Monday!

So, let’s try this again! Y’all, I literally was about to hit publish and my entire post was deleted. So, I poured a glass of wine and we’re re-typing this. Pray for me!

If you’re like me, Black Friday is best and most conveniently spent shopping online, braless, very possibly still in bed after the re-heated leftovers have been devoured for a second or maybe third time. No judgement here! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love shopping small, supporting local, and in store but prefer to ditch the crowd on BF and stay in to do most of my bigger shopping, especially on deal days! I remember back in the day when we would get up before the sun came up to hit ALL the deals. Now, I am all about skipping the lines and getting it delivered directly to my door. I’ll still be hitting the stores and shopping my favorite boutiques in town but for now, we are keeping it cozy and I may or may not brush my hair or get out of my pajamas today.

I also wanted to mention that I’m going to be a little more selective this year in regards to sharing retailers below. I’m sharing who I’ll also be shopping and the best deals I’ve found. I’ll update the codes for Cyber Monday if they change and will keep this updated so you can revisit it as well. All codes and specific details will be included, and I also wanted to say, if you click on a link below, and for some reason are asked to go to your “app” decline, because I just learned that going through the app doesn’t allow influencers to get credit. Just a reminder. Also, thank you SO much for going through my links and for shopping with me! I am so thankful for each and every sale and going through my links is at NO cost at all to you. If you need assistance in any way, please reach out! I want to be a good resource for you all and am always happy to help! Happy Shopping!!

Christmas Gift Guide for Women

image 6December is fast approaching! Have you gotten some shopping done or are you waiting for the big sales to hit this weekend? I’ve bought a couple of things for the kids but still have a lot to do. I wanted to put together a list of gifts that I have and currently love or items I may even be wishing for this Christmas season. I hope this is a helpful list and if anything gives you a little inspiration when shopping. You can hover over each item and click on it to shop as well. I always love getting the ladies in my family meaningful gifts. I’ll wrap up a couple of framed family photos and tie a new devotional to the top of it or write a letter for them to keep. I love sentimental gifts and things I can keep forever so tend to also enjoy giving them. I also love SHOES. It’s a total and complete weakness I have and one I generally feel zero remorse of most days as well. Give me a devotional or give me Gucci and I am one happy girl! haha! Truly though, I hope you can gain some insight on what would best suit your loved one’s from this post. As always, if you have questions, list them at the bottom or send me a message. I am ALWAYS, ALWAYS happy to help, and by you asking, you’re actually helping my family too, as I make a small commission off of the sales made in these posts and on my social platforms. I’m so grateful for each of you who come to this space and read these posts and inquire about any links! Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart!!

Let me know what you think and if I can help in any way! Have a great Thanksgiving week!

Halloween Books and Looks for Kids

Can you believe Halloween is almost here? It doesn’t seem possible that we’re already half way through the month of October. This is one of my favorite months of the year. That crisp, cool morning air, the leaves changing, carving pumpkins, decorating my porch, and all of the fun fall festivities and Halloween carnivals. Speaking of carnivals, our church actually puts on an amazing Trunk or Treat. Several families participate and go ALL out decorating their trunks and creating a theme at each stop. They have bounce houses, food and of course more treats than imaginable. It’s always so much fun and I look forward to going this year and for Camilla to experience her first Halloween in her cute little costume. It’s always a good time and one of the many opportunities we have that Corbin enjoys. Did I also mention his favorite holiday is Halloween? So last year he was a vampire, but two years prior he was Spiderman and y’all, he literally wore that thing EVERYWHERE. I couldn’t get him out of it for months.  It was also that phase of not understanding Halloween only comes around once a year and that “tomorrow” wasn’t Halloween again! Hah! Oh my goodness! Anyone else remember that with their toddler? So funny! Then we went through the vampire phase. Not a scary vampire, but a nice one, he would tell me. Then when his vampire costume and teeth arrived, it was an entirely new dilemma and a flashback of Spiderman all over again. He loved those crazy vampire teeth. It was a hoot!! I kept finding them in bizarre places and he even tried to wear them into pre-school a time or two. That boy! I’m interested to see how Cami will be in those phases. I’ll let you know once we get there!

Facetune_14-10-2019-22-17-35

Facetune_14-10-2019-22-23-44Today, since everyone is beginning to gear up for all of the fun activities ahead, I thought it would be fun to share a few Halloween books we’ve loved and read this time of year every night before bed. It’s a fun tradition Camilla gets to join now too, as we snuggle up in Corbin’s bed, freshly bathed and ready for a good story to end the day. He picks one each night, sometimes the same one and I read it a “couple” times, but it’s one I enjoy year after year and one we’ve had since he was a little bitty guy. I’ve always read to him but I think we can agree, themed holiday books are the best, amiright?! Memories I hope they will always remember and traditions to someday begin with their littles.

The post wouldn’t be complete without some children’s Halloween outfit inspo and some cute pajamas like the ones pictured too. I mean, how can I not? We are fans of our jammies, guys! I love coordinating the kids, like I’ve mentioned before, and even think its fun in pajama form for all the holidays. Coordinating is always a good idea in my book! Here are some of our favorites below! I hope you enjoy this fun share and that you soak up the rest of October, like we are!

Wishing you a boo-tiful and spook-tacular Halloween season!

Valentine’s Day Gifting

Valentine’s Day Gifting

Happy Monday!

It may just be me, but January seemed to slowly squeak by and it seems like February is flying! Hence why this has become a last minute gift idea post! So, let’s talk Valentine’s Day and gifting for those last minute surprises for your significant other and even your kids.

Now, don’t get me wrong, personally I love fresh blooms and won’t ever turn down chocolate, but sometimes being treated by your spouse to a latte and mani/pedi is every bit as appreciated in my opinion. Knowing your love language and theirs in a relationship or marriage I feel is so important in how you handle daily life and special occasions, like Valentine’s Day. For instance, mine is words of affirmation and gifts, and my husbands is acts of service. Therefore, I love a new killer pair of shoes, or a handwritten sweet note, or just to be told I am loved. Simply put, these are the ways to my heart. Conrad is more of a show me you love me by cooking dinner and ironing my jeans kind of language. 🙂 It’s nice to know how to ensure that your partner feels appreciated, not only on special days but in general. If you don’t know your love language, I would highly encourage you and your significant other to read Gary Chapman’s book here. It really is worth the read and is a great resource in improving communication and how to love your spouse well.

Like I said above, “gifts” are one of my languages. So, I have a few items I think the woman in your life will love, guys! Check them out by clicking the links below.

Ladies, here are a few idea’s for your man:
