VII Code Eye Mask

As a busy mom of two, I like many other moms tend to put my needs and self-care on the back burner. Not at all complaining and I wouldn’t change it for the world, yet mama sometimes needs to pamper herself. Anyone else feel this way? 30 minutes of alone time, yes?

I was recently gifted a product that I’ve found to be very effective for under eye circles, is safe for expecting moms, and is so easy and convenient to use. The VII Code oxygen mask is SO good y’all! It feels amazing and has become a staple in my weekly routine.

This mask helps reduce the appearance fine lines and wrinkles (can I get an amen?) and how I like to apply mine is at night before bed. I can sleep in it for up to 8 hours and wake up looking less like a tired mom and more like an energized 20 something. Okay, maybe that’s going a little far, but it’s definitely made such an impact in my routine and I think is something that could benefit other women wanting to take a little time for themselves, even if it’s while you sleep. I have tried many eyes masks in the past. Prior to pregnancy I was using an eye mask that included retinol as an ingredient, not safe for pregnant or nursing so quickly had to come up with a safe alternative that would do the job and that would make me feel like I was making improvements to my skin in the meantime.

The VII Code mask has been wonderful and I’m so glad to have been given the opportunity to use it. If you’re also interested, you can check out the oxygen eye mask, here. Let me know your thoughts and what your results are looking like and remember to always take time for yourself! Doing so will make you a better you to care for those around you!

Happy weekend, friends!

To new moms, seasoned moms, grandmothers, aunts, and those who are like mothers to us, hats off to you! May you know how wonderful you are today and each day in between and how grateful we are for each of you in our lives.

Wishing you a very Happy Mother’s Day!

Camilla One Month Update

Hi friends, so I just published her birth story, but figured I would go ahead and update you on our sweet one month old. It’s crazy to think it’s already been one month since our little girl made her grand entrance into the world. She is doing great and beginning to do more than just sleep, so I thought I’d share a little more about how things are going.

First, Camilla is a super relaxed baby literally ALL the time and already has such a good, sweet disposition, or I like to think so anyway. She’s been eating in 4 hour intervals, sometimes 5 at night, so I feel much more rested than when I was pregnant. She is super strong, now lifting her head for several seconds at a time and focusing much more on objects. She loves bath time, being naked and kicking around. She just flails and coos and every now and then will give you the biggest smile. If I’m across the room and she hears me, she turns her head to find me almost every time. She follows voices, especially mine and Corbin’s and loves when he sings to her. She get this big grin on her face when he’s talking to her and it just melts my mama heart. I think she’s pretty fond of her brother bear! She also loves staring at the ceiling fans, ha and is enamored with the wallpaper in her room. She just sits and stares when I’m changing her. One thing she’s starting to get more used to is tummy time. At first she was not a fan, but each day it gets a little better and I honestly think she’s going to be rolling over before we know it. She already likes her side and tries to push herself over. I don’t think I’m quite ready for that yet so it’s fine by me if she takes her time. Her mamaroo has been awesome during play time. She just rocks and watches the world go by, and let’s mama work on the laundry. 🙂 I remember it being one of my favorite products when Corbin was little too! He loved that thing and I got stuff done.

She had some reflux issues right when we brought her home so she sleeps elevated in her dock a tot at night. We’ll soon be transitioning her to her halo bassinet, but for now she’s content in the dock a tot and it gives me peace of mind as well. I love having her near me and being able to take it in different rooms with me while I’m doing house work or blogging is so nice as well, while she naps. One of my favorite things she does right now is she’ll giggle in her sleep and it’s the sweetest. Her big brother still does this and it makes me laugh every time. My grandma and mom both have always said, the angels must be playing with them in their dreams, and I think that’s most accurate. Those grins and giggles get me every time and are just so precious. She also loves to be held and I’m by no means complaining. I love snuggling with her and am soaking up every minute.

We’re loving watching Camilla grow by the day. She’s 8.5 pounds now, and is starting to get some rolls and filling out around her face. It’s amazing how quickly they grow and how much they change over such a short amount of time.

We had her well check almost two weeks ago and they had to prick her foot for a routine newborn panel and she was sound asleep. I don’t know about you but I’m that mom who dreads all the shots and the foot pricking and may or may not cry more than my kids. Well, the nurse warned beforehand that she would start screaming after they pricked her foot, so Corbin and I were prepared and ready for what was about to take place. They pricked her foot and the child didn’t move. Corbin told the nurse, wow, my sister is braver than me and it was just so funny. She got through that so well and never even flinched. Just giving you an idea of how easy she is. Above all though, I’m just happy and thankful that she’s healthy and that all is well. What a blessing and a gift she is to our family!

We’ll be going to Dallas for the weekend in the next couple weeks and so I’ll be sure to update you all on how well she travels, as with the flu season, we haven’t left our house much or been in the car for long periods of time. I’ve been much more afraid of germs this time around and have tried to stay away from crowded places as much as possible. Now that it’s getting warmer and spring is springing, I hope to be getting out more and actually enjoying some fresh air. I think Dallas will be fun and I hope she does well on the trip! So far, I feel like she will be great and be a little world traveler like her brother was.

Anyway, I hope your day has been simple amazing and just wanted to give you a quick update on our girl! Happy Thursday!!

Nursery Reveal

IMG_0804 2

Y’all, I can’t tell you how excited I am about FINALLY sharing the nursery. It’s been something I’ve constantly been receiving messages about and took a poll on IG at the beginning of the year with most responses indicating you all wanting to see more home decor inspo in 2019. What a better way to start sharing more home inspiration than to share one of my new favorite rooms in our house.

I began thinking of ideas for the nursery right when I found out we were expecting. I had this vision of cactus, regardless of gender and had seen a similar cactus pattern wallpaper in a parade home over the summer that I instantly fell in love with. Little did I know where I’d be able to find such a print. I searched Anthropologie, Project Nursery and a few other sites before setting my heart on a particular print I LOVED, low and behold on Etsy. Talk about a statement wall! Now, don’t get me wrong, I love a neutral nursery and space, but wanted something more vibrant, especially after finding out we were having a girl. Honestly, if we were having a boy, I still would have gone with cactus, just maybe something a little more subtle. Once we were able to confirm the gender of our baby girl, I hopped right back on Etsy and ordered the wallpaper that would be the main inspiration for the nursery and what I would build the room completely around.

I have to tell you though, this whole ordering the wallpaper and hanging it immediately didn’t end up happening like I originally planned. For one, I accidentally sent it to my sorority sister in Midland instead of Lubbock, as Etsy sometimes doesn’t allow you to choose the address and sends to the first address provided. Oops! Also, it came from PORTUGAL (of course) so it’s not like I could call and have them re-route the order from Dallas, especially since I had realized what I had done several days after submitting my order and it had already shipped out. It was a little bit of a mess to say the least. Thankfully, my sweet friend was so kind to keep it safe until Conrad could pick it up on his way home from working in Midland. Then, once we got it home and completely unwrapped, I realized the rolls were actually too short and it wasn’t going to work on the wall. It was like a puzzle I couldn’t figure out. Seriously!! I ended up contacting the company the next day and they were amazing in that they allowed me to ship it all back, and get the correct sizing for our wall. Disclaimer: It costs a heck of a lot more to send something back out of the USA than it does to have it shipped to you from a foreign country. SO just take note in case you also want to order something from afar only to send it back and pay double what the original product costs. Yikes! I was feeling a little defeated at this point, not gonna lie. It was short lived though, and luckily for me, I was able to re-order the size I needed and it swiftly arrived within a couple of days. Home Art Stickers was wonderful to work with and I would recommend them for customer service, as well as quality. They have so many murals, and prints to choose from and are a great option when re-doing a space. Besides shipping, which was my fault for miscalculating, they were excellent in ensuring that I received just what I needed and swift to make it happen.

Once that saga had ended, I found the sweetest lady, recommended by one of my precious friends to float the nursery wall and to hang it for us. Seriously though, if y’all need someone who is amazingly efficient in hanging wallpaper and lives conveniently in the surrounding area, I will hook you up with her number because she was literally a dream and got the job completely done in two days. Wall floated, wallpaper hung, done. I was so impressed and we’re talking the weekend before Christmas y’all! She did a wonderful job and I was so thankful she agreed to help us with such short notice, not to mention giving us what I would consider a heck of a deal for all of it.

Another vision I saw for our girl was a gold crib. Let me take a step back and say, with Corbin we went the Restoration Hardware route, which I loved and still think is an amazing option both for quality and style, but I was also trying to be more cost effective this time around, as his furniture literally cost a small fortune. Let’s put it this way, the boy will be off to college one day with that full sized convertible bed, bookcase, and dresser. I won’t be at all mad about it either. 😉 So back to her crib. I found several options I liked but this one stuck with me. For one, it was under $300 and much less even now (under $180) on sale. I really wanted that boho chic look and felt it fit the image in my head so well that I went ahead and ordered it. It was so sweet too, because when it came in, I had an event to go to that particular evening and I arrived home to a completely built crib, thanks to my boys! It melted my heart and I think turned out to be the cutest thing and looks more expensive than it is IMO. I also went with white bedding due to her wall being so busy, and felt that throw pillows would be a nice accent, obviously when she isn’t occupying the space. Her crib skirt is from Pottery Barn and is no longer available but I also loved this option with the tassels. Her crib sheet is this one. There is also a similar option here.

In regards to the other furniture pieces in the room, the pink velvet chair was a must, as was the white dresser. A long time ago or it feels like it, I took another IG poll on dressers, some of you may remember. I had such great feedback and liked all four options I shared for different reasons. However, the one I wanted was backordered til mid February and seeing as I’d be about ready to pop, didn’t want to wait or order something sight unseen. I am so happy I went with this option, as it has just enough character, yet will grow with her, is functional and fits so well in the space. I also like that its simple enough, yet has such an elegance about it. Then mom and I were walking around at “At Home” recently and found the cutest side table that we know would be perfect for extra storage and loved that it went back with the dresser, since it has gold accents. Similar and here and “At Home” still had a couple left, under $100. The cactus canvas next to the dresser and the fiddle fig leaf potted tree also came from At Home. Check out this fiddle fig leaf tree that is super similar, and under $70. World Market also has many artificial trees to choose from and a vast array of decor options, so you may want to check out their site when revamping a particular room in your home.

Wayfair is one of my faves for home decor and for unique pieces of furniture as well. I found our floating shelves on clearance (this never happens, FYI) and quickly found out why. The quality isn’t great and they were ridiculous to put together and hang but I think they are cute and work. Kind of wish I would have ordered these or  these instead, but for now, the current shelves serve their purpose and I can always switch them out down the road. One piece I love above her changing table/ dresser is this gold mirror. It’s amazing and the quality is so so good.

A lot of the decor I’ve found along the way came from this retailer. The lampcactusblanket laddersmall framesporcelain flower, and succulents all made their way into my basket in the same trip. I love how these pieces have completed the room. The llama can be found here and I decided to go with the Hatch changing pad for a more chic look instead of having to change out covers constantly. Lastly the cactus decor sitting around here and there came from Home Goods, Nebraska Furniture Mart of all places, and my mom bought a few cute glass cacti from a boutique called Jux-ta-Posh here locally. If you haven’t been in this cute shop, you must go! I love her style and there are just so many pretty things. As for baskets, I loved adding the combination of these and these. The texture and metal vs. woven were both something I wanted to incorporate. I love how pretty the metal basket looks with her beautiful Snozy Cozy throw hanging inside. The colors couldn’t be more perfect to tie the room together.

I know I’m quite possibly forgetting something or forgetting a link for you but please message me if you have any questions or leave it in the comments below. I would be so happy to answer any door questions you have, regarding this space and any details you may need. I hope to share a lot more decor this year and love that you all are interested in seeing more from me on the home decor end. I love to decorate and am passionate about it as I am fashion and mom life. Thank you for stopping by to read and I hope you enjoyed seeing our sweet baby girls nursery. Have a wonderful week, y’all!

Thank you Still and Ink Photography for capturing this sweet space in our home.

What’s in my hospital bag

Oh my goodness! The time is drawing near where I’ll be needing my hospital bag! EEEK! I can’t believe I’m officially #38weekspregnant and we have two weeks or less until sweet baby H is in our arms!

I remember the first time around with Corbin, when I didn’t put much thought into what I might need. I was a little naive, nervous and vividly remember our family having to make a trip or two across town to our house to get what I had forgotten during our hospital stay. This time I feel much less nervous and much more prepared. This post is also one that’s been highly requested, so I’m hoping it’s also helpful to anyone who may need a hospital check list. I’ve researched, asked friends, and have felt much more confident in packing for baby #2. 🙂

I wanted to share my list of a few things that I know will be a must for me, but also I’m sharing what’s in Conrad’s bag and what I’ll be putting in Corbin’s big brother bag as well for the day our baby girl arrives. I wanted Corbin to be included in every aspect of this day and in general, and felt this was a good way to get him excited. After all, she is HIS baby too! 😉 We’re all getting so excited to finally meet her!

Hospital Bag must haves for me:

  1. Two sets of pajamas. I chose these and this gown. Both button down for nursing and are super soft.

  2. A robe. This Barefoot Dreams robe is similar to mine, but mine is old. 🙂

  3. A going home outfit.

  4. A couple of pillows. Totally optional but will be more comfortable IMO. Target and Walmart both have packs of two for around $20.

  5. Toiletries: Toothbrush & toothpaste, face wipes, chapstick, shampoo & conditioner, body wash, makeup, razor, lotion, deodorant, brush and hair ties, hair dryer, dry shampoo (All of mine are mainly travel sized)

  6. A towel from home for showering. I’ll take an old one I can throw out.

  7. House slippers, flip flops, and socks. I got my ready set push socks from this site.

  8. Depends! (something no one told me the first time around). A couple pair of panties as well. Love these. I’ve also heard great things about these for C-section mama’s.

  9. Dermoplast, this and Tucks (you can thank me later) Also, the hospital should provide you with these so take advantage of all the supplies you’re paying for and take them home!

  10. Collace (stool softener)

  11. Nursing pads. I’ve always used this brand.

  12. 2 to 3 nursing bras. Mine are herehere, and here. Excited to try these and report back to y’all my thoughts.

  13. Nipple cream

  14. Tylenol/ Nexium for Conrad.

  15. Phone charger

  16. Insurance card/ Photo I.D.

What’s in Conrad’s Bag:

  1. Toothbrush & Toothpaste

  2. A couple changes of clothes/boxers/socks

  3. Sandals/pajamas/sweats

  4. Computer, phone charger, iPad

  5. Twin flat sheet set/blanket and pillow

  6. Snacks (chex mix, crackers, etc)

  7. Drinks (bottled water, gatorade) or cash for the vending machine.

Baby Bag:

  1. Pajamas & knotted gowns

  2. 2 swaddle sets (Copper Pearl, Posh Peanut and Milkmaid Goods have cute ones)

  3. A couple hats/bows (Turban and Newborn hat)

  4. Nursing pillow (Nook)

  5. Outfit for first picture/name reveal

  6. Carseat (should remain in the car until ready to go home).

  7. 2 blankets (one heavier, one muslin)

  8. Baby book

Corbin’s Bag:

  1. Big Brother Bag

  2. Big Brother Tee

  3. Personalized book

  4. Crayons and coloring book

  5. Silly Putty

  6. Water bottle

  7. Cute book

  8. Hot wheels

  9. Fruit snacks & juicy juice

Considering I’m notorious for overpacking, I would much rather be safe than sorry. They may wonder if we’re moving in but I like to be organized and prepared for a short or longer stay. I’m also sure I’m missing something as well, so leave it in the comments if you think there’s anything left that I just have to take along. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day! I’ll keep you all posted as we get closer to meeting our sweet girl!

Maternity Pictures

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Mine consisted of watching my husband paint in the baby’s room, knocking out a few piles of newborn laundry, a tee ball game and rounded it out with an amazing shower hosted and attended by some of my very favorite people! I feel so blessed and this baby is already spoiled rotten, let me tell you! We definitely have felt so much love this weekend and beyond and my heart feels overwhelmingly grateful.

I’ve been meaning to write for a while now (life happens) and finally share some of my maternity photos with you all, as I am OBSESSED! Kim, my photographer always seems to just knock my vision right out of the park, y’all. She is seriously so gifted and amazing! I’m 35 weeks this week so I figured, now would be the opportune time to share before our sweet baby girl decides to make her debut. I absolutely loved having my favorite little guy with me all dressed up on that chilly West Texas winter day too. He is just so dapper and he melts my heart. I just know he will be such a wonderful big brother.

I’m not going to lie, I’m starting to feel rather large in this final phase of pregnancy. I’m living in leggings, well I have been this entire time, but my husbands t-shirts have never been more appealing. I am constantly lathering my belly in all the creams and oils created, as I don’t know how much more my skin can stretch and have been drinking water by the gallons. I also like to end my days with a nice warm bath and some chamomile tea with a splash of honey to help me sleep. I think I’ll be prepared for when she arrives because I literally hardly ever sleep. This has been my only major complaint this entire pregnancy. I feel good and have felt good besides the no sleeping bit. Bless Corbin’s heart, I know by the end of the day I can be and probably more like am, Momzilla. Did any of you have trouble sleeping the entire pregnancy or at all? I’m hoping and optimistic this will just prepare me once we make this transition with a newborn. 😉

I also forgot how heavenly Dreft smells. The things we forget over the years. I have a feeling there will be many moments that will need some refreshing this time around. Corbin is so self sufficient that I know it will be an adjustment having a new baby again. Then again, putting together her little outfits is already so fun and getting my hospital bag all ready to go has me giddy! I can’t wait to share in a post what all I’ve packed and will be taking to the hospital, along with what’s in Conrad’s bag. We’re just excited and preparing for this precious blessing. I’ve also been putting some items together for Corbin. I want him to feel included in every aspect so I’m making him a big brother bag that he will get when he comes to meet her for the very first time. I think it’s so important for us to remember his feelings and share in his joy (or sorrow) ha as he becomes the big brother to his little sister. I literally cannot wait to see him with her and to watch him hold her. More than likely, I’ll be over here ugly crying! Lol, I’m such a sap when I think about these moments. I’ll also share what I’m putting in his bag when we share our hospital bags! 😉

For now, we’re finishing up the nursery, I’m eating all the things, and we’re soaking up these last few weeks of it being just the three of us. I am so excited to soon be Henderson party of four and know she will be the perfect addition to completing our family.

Have a great week, friends!

Last minute stocking stuffers

I’m always on the hunt for last minutes ideas I can throw in stockings that are fun, inexpensive and something my loved ones will enjoy.

I found 25 great options for women, men, and children that I think you may also enjoy shopping. Scarves under $10 with the majority of these items being under $20 and most even arriving just in the St. Nicholas of time! Kids doodle pads and slime (y’all may hate me for that) and just a few more silly items perfect to complete your holiday shopping! Take a look below and happy stuffing!

Gift guide for men

Today I wanted to highlight the main man in my life and share a little fun fact. Christmas for us is a little different than most, simply because it’s not only a day we set aside to celebrate Jesus, even though he is the REASON, but it’s also a day to celebrate the birth of this handsome husband of mine. That’s right, Conrad’s birthday is Christmas Day for those of you who may not know, and it can make gifting a little bit challenging to try and separate the activities and shift the focus to him. He tends to actually forget as he’s gotten older. Until he’s reminded by the “birthday” wrapped gifts and of course, cake. Birthdays have always been a big deal in my family so I always want him to know how much he means to us and to me, and hope he feels the love on his special day, even if Santa is in fact on his cake.  😉

With that being said, I wanted to put one last gift guide together for you while there’s still time! This one is for the men in your lives. Whether it be your husband, father, grandfather or brother, there are some good options that he will appreciate. Take a look and shop below.

Cheers to one week til Christmas!!

Gift Guide for Kids

I can’t believe Christmas is less than two weeks away! Anyone else completely behind on shopping or is that just me? I figured I would put a few kids items together in case you needed ideas. I actually sat down with Corbin last night and he gave me a list that is apparently every four year old little boys dream. It was kind of a long one so I’m hoping he is a good boy for Santa and that Santa has plenty of back up and caffeine to get this all checked off. Haha! I’ve added a few of his picks here, along with others.

To be honest, I feel like I always struggle with this season when it comes to gifting. I would love to spoil my child absolutely rotten, but I also want him to know the true meaning of Christmas, why it is we celebrate and to have a giving spirit, instead of it being about a pile of presents. This year I started the giving manger and feel like it represents more of what this season is all about. It comes with a book detailing a specific family and their hope to share the values of giving and having a heart for others. It’s all about serving others and how even the smallest acts of kindness can bring forth a joyful heart and change someone’s day. A manger is included, as well as straw. Each day we serve others, we can add a piece of straw to the manger and eventually once it is filled with straw, we can lay baby Jesus in the manger on Christmas Day. It is our reward for service. I loved this idea because it teaches Corbin to take time for others, care about their needs and serve them when he can. To me, that is what Christmas is about. Serving and loving others like Jesus serves and loves us. You can find it here if interested.

Another idea that is a way to serve others that we do each year is we find an angel tree. The tree is usually in your local mall, or that’s where you can find ours if you reside in Lubbock. I let Corbin choose two children off of the tree and we shop for them. It’s a fun tradition we’ve started and hopefully gives two kids each year a more exciting and joyful Christmas. It’s something we do together and look forward to each year.

Now, on to toy ideas for kiddos. Corbin has been wanting the Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage that can be found at the link provided. It’s definitely a splurge item but would be a good gift if thats all you gave plus a couple very small items, books, slime, etc.

We’re also going through a Nerf gun phase that I have a feeling isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. This one is under $13.

A fun gift for both boys and girls is also this cool web tree swing. It’s under $60 and has great reviews.

Corbin loves tools so I thought this might be a good option for when he’s out “working” and helping his daddy. There are other options for tool sets in this tread as well. and

Here is also an option for those of you who have children close in age and that like to play together, no matter their gender. Love how retro this looks and it’s gender neutral!

The cutest dollhouse fit for a princess. Love this Hearth and Hand dollhouse and their design and spin pretty much on everything!

Corbin also mentioned this fun mega hauler under $15 for all the hot wheels we’ve accumulated.

Loved this craft table for anyone. It’s gender neutral again, and would be perfect for your littles who enjoy letting their imagination run wild. This table is also awesome and suitable for legos as well.

A fan favorite around here if you’ve watched my stories is the hover board. Corbin started riding it by himself at 2 and he and my husband have so much fun on ours. I found an option under $200, that comes in several colors if you prefer. These things can get pricey, but this is one of the better options I’ve found and we’ve gotten our money out of ours for sure.

Take me back to the good old days with the Lite Bright. These things are making a come back and are a hot seller on Amazon right now. It’s also a gift under $15, which makes it hard to say no and is suitable for several age ranges!

If your child loves to build, construct and put things together, this just may be for them. $20 and entertainment for hours with Snap Circuits.

Holiday inspiration and 30 week bump date

Hey babes! Happy Thursday!!

I wanted to share this pretty dress and belt with y’all today in hopes it may inspire something fun and fabulous for your upcoming holiday parties. You can’t go wrong with a LBD in my opinion and this one is under $25. I also wanted to update you on baby girl’s progress. I can’t believe I’m 30 weeks pregnant. For some of y’all it may seem like I’ve been pregnant forever, but for me it feels like its flown by. Probably because we’re busier this go round with a four year old constantly on the go. I wanted to also share some of the products I’ve been using and loving this pregnancy.

It’s becoming real that we’ll get to meet our sweet little one in 10 weeks or less. Which also means I better get going on the nursery. I’ve heard the more children you have the less on top of things you are. I am definitely that mom lately. I’ve been dragging my feet on getting things together in her room but know how I want things to look. So thats a plus, right? It’s just getting it done in a timely manner, and the holidays don’t help my procrastinating mindset. I do have a couple pieces of furniture being delivered next week though and can’t wait to see them bring the room together. It will get there, maybe slowly but surely.  So excited to share more once we get it done.

I can say I feel pretty good overall and honestly can’t really complain about much, besides I stay up all hours of the night and sleep best if I can get a nap in during the day. I’ve been using this pregnancy pillow and used it when I was pregnant with Corbin. Love it!

I’ve also been using Bio oil and Kopari Coconut oil linked here to protect and prevent stretch marks and keep my skin hydrated. I also love this Kopari Coconut Body Milk as well.

I used One a Day Prenatal Vitamins with Corbin but found that I was so exhausted during the start of this pregnancy that I figured I would switch it up. I’ve been using Rainbow Light one a day prenatal duo and have loved them so far. You can see which ones I use here. They will be great for post pregnancy as well and have specific trimester prenatal vitamins too if you choose to go that route. 🙂

I eat literally everything; give me all the sweets and Chick Fil A. Still on that kick and going strong. We went to Dallas last week and I ate my body weight in nuggets, fries and a fruit cup on the drive. Wasn’t at all mad about it either but you should have seen the look on my moms face. Haha, she was a little surprised at my appetite. I’ve been snacking on pineapple lately as well and if you haven’t tried the Chick Fil A fruit cup, you totally should. I always ask them for strawberries, oranges, and blueberries and have them leave out the apples. I don’t know why but I’m not fan for whatever reason. I may have a little work to do once little Miss gets here, but until further notice, I’ve just been enjoying it! Hey, thats what Spanx are for, amIright?! Here they are if you want to check them out!

We also have a name, y’all!! Disclaimer: I won’t be sharing until she arrives but am so happy to have finally decided (and agreed) on a name. I had a name I LOVED but Conrad wasn’t a fan so we compromised a little. She’s like her own little person now and it makes it even sweeter! I’ve monogrammed a few things on Etsy already and will also share them once she is here.

I haven’t left food at a drive up window again, but I did show up to my ultrasound appointment a day early today. Anyone else done anything like that? I sometimes feel like I’ve completely lost my mind. Thankfully it was too early and not too late. I love getting to see our girl and tomorrow we get to see her sweet little face and that makes me so excited! Corbin gets to join me and so I know he will be happy to see her too. He recently got a little baby doll and has been feeding and caring for “Kinley” as practice for when his baby sister arrives and although Conrad may not agree, I think it’s the most precious thing. I seriously cannot wait to see him with her. He will be amazing and will have a little bestie for life! Every day we get closer the more excited we all become to meet her. I love when Conrad talks to her and seeing him with her may be my most anticipated moment next to Corbin. She is going to have her daddy wrapped around her finger and if he’s anything with her like he is with Corbin, it will melt my heart into a puddle. He’s such an amazing daddy and our kids are so blessed that he is theirs.

I’ll continue to update you as we get closer to her arrival and will be revealing her nursery as soon as its complete with many links in case you’re interested. I love home decor and coming up with ideas, so I think it will turn out cute and a little different than what I’ve been seeing! Stay tuned.

I’ve also linked this look for you as well. My LBD is not maternity but works with the bump and is such a great option to dress up or down. My jacket is old but I’ve linked one similar for you as well!

Thank you all for reading and I hope you have a lovely rest of your day!!
